Membership

Junior membership includes all rugby training with our RFU qualifed coaches, provision of playing shirts for matches, match fees and after match meals. Please note that whilst we endeavour to ensure that every child gets gametime, for safety reasons the final decision on whether or not a child plays on any occasion is left to the Head Coach, who has the training and experience to evaluate player size & skill levels and determine the safety risks in allowing any child to play. We ask that you respect this decision since playing a child inappropriately may lead to an unneccessarily high risk of injury.

Membership runs from 1 September each year. Players who have not renewed their membership by 1st October will not be entitled to train or play in matches in that season. Proof of age must be provided for Junior Memberships (birth certificate, passport etc.)

All new players are entitled to a free four week trial period, during which they may attend training sessions but not play in competitive matches against other clubs. At the end of this period they must become members of the club if they wish to continue training or play in matches.

Special Needs & Benefits
Every child is special, but some have different needs to others. Our aim is to give as many children as possible the chance to play rugby. Whatever your concern, we will try to help. If your child has any special needs (e.g. physical or learning difficulty), please speak to us so that we can ensure that their needs can be catered for. Families on any government benefit are entitled to all memberships at concessionary rates (e.g. additional child rate). Please speak to a team coach or club official for further information.
